"Dear Mom and Dad,
I still can't believe why you just dropped and left me here, I got the feeling like you don't love me anymore. I miss my friends and our neighborhood, and it's just not fair. It's not my fault that I was marked and that I need to be here to raise a dragon. I really don't want to be here, and I even get bullied. That is because my dragon egg hasn't hatched yet, while the other eggs already did hatch like a month ago. It's terrible here, and my bright dragon tattoo seems to draw attention to me, so I get bullied even more! I really miss my little sister Debby, can you please tell her that? And tell her that she has to write me a letter, every once a week or so. Hope not to hear soon from you.
Emmy."
When the students of the House of Dragons get marked, their lives are turned upside down. They have to leave as soon as they can, so their dragon can hatch early. They have to stay in this "private boarding school" for six years, so they can learn how to ride on dragons, how to take care of them and can develop a very strong bond with their own dragon. Not one dragon is the same, they're all unique, as their owners are. Some of the students like to be there, having a very strong unique bond with their dragon, but some also hate it. They think it's terrible out there, and most of the kids who think that get bullied. Three words that can make one shiver or smile...
'You're now marked...'
